Bethel Woods Parking & Premium Parking Guide

Bethel Woods parking is free for general parking, with a paid Premium Parking option that you buy in advance, and that single fact answers the question most people ask first. The rest is about how the night works once you arrive: which lots serve which vehicles, where the shuttle and the rideshare zone are, how long the walk is, and what happens if you park without a ticket. This guide gathers the venue's published parking details in one place, each with a link to the official page and the date we last checked. bethelnyhotels.com is an independent local guide and is not affiliated with Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, so confirm anything time-sensitive on the venue's page for your show.

The short version

General parking in the Healey Brothers lots is free, according to the venue's Directions & Parking page. Lots and gate times vary by event. Premium Parking costs extra, is sold in advance with a concert ticket, and is reserved in Lot D close to the Hurd Road crosswalk. The venue asks guests to allow at least 20 minutes to walk from a vehicle to the Pavilion seating area. The venue's address is 200 Hurd Rd, Bethel, NY 12720.

Free parking: the Healey Brothers lots

The venue's lots are named on the parking page as C, D, E, F and G, and the page links to a downloadable parking map. General admission parking is free, and the venue's Visit FAQs say to keep traffic flowing as you enter. Open the official parking map before the night so you know which lot you are heading toward and how it relates to the main entry.

The lots open at different times depending on the event, and the pages we read do not publish specific opening times. Check the event page for your show. The venue says General Gates open approximately 90 minutes before show time, and the Member Gate opens approximately 30 minutes before General Gates (see the Pavilion FAQs), but gate times are not the same thing as lot times, so do not assume one tells you the other.

Premium Parking

Premium Parking is the only paid parking product named on the venue's pages. It is available in advance for an additional cost when you buy your concert ticket, online, by phone or at the Box Office. It offers reserved spaces in Lot D, close to the Hurd Road crosswalk. If you are searching for Bethel Woods premium parking, the details above are what the venue publishes: it does not publish the price or how many spaces exist, and it does not describe any preferred or VIP parking product. Ask the Box Office if you need the price before you decide.

One related note. The 2026 Season Lawn Pass did not include reserved parking or Member Gate entry, so do not assume a pass covers Premium Parking.

How long is the walk?

The venue says to allow at least 20 minutes to walk from your vehicle to the Pavilion seating area. It also says buses and oversized vehicles use Lots F and G, which are the farthest from the shuttle and the main entry, so those drivers should expect a longer walk. If anyone in your group walks slowly, plan the timing around the slowest person, and arrive before gates rather than after.

Shuttle and rideshare

A Transportation Assistance shuttle runs free of charge from Lot D to the concessions area on the right side of the amphitheater. The pages we read do not state its hours, so do not count on it at a specific time. Guests with a valid disability placard or other authorized identification can park near the Transportation Assistance Depot, and the person the tag was issued to must be in the vehicle. Motorcycles park in a secure area next to the Transportation Assistance Depot.

The Rideshare Zone is on Hurd Rd across from Lots D and E. The parking page says riders can pre-schedule a ride, then walk to the passenger waiting area. The venue does not publish pickup times or wait times, so build in slack after the final song.

RVs, buses and overnight parking

RVs, buses, limos and oversized vehicles use Lot F, and the page also names Lots F and G for buses and oversized vehicles. The page lists Lot F for RVs, and it does not say whether Lot G accepts RVs. No overnight parking is permitted, and vehicles must be out by lot closure after each show. If you want to stay overnight on site with an RV or a tent, the venue runs a campground with its own rules, covered in our camping guide.

If you do not have a ticket

The Pavilion FAQs say people who do not have a ticket for the event may not park at Bethel Woods, and violators can be towed at the owner's expense. If you are dropping someone off or meeting a group, use the rideshare zone or a spot elsewhere. Vehicles left overnight in the lots are towed at the owner's expense, according to the campground FAQ.

Tailgating

Tailgating is limited to one parking space per vehicle. It has to end before the main act takes the stage. The venue prohibits charcoal grills and allows propane grills. Check your show's page for any extra rules, since the venue notes that some events carry additional restrictions.

Members, Museum and Event Gallery

Members attending Pavilion shows must display their official pass in the windshield. Museum and Event Gallery performances use the main lot across from the Museum, not the Pavilion lots. If your plans include both, check which lot applies to each.

Planning around your stay

Where you sleep changes your parking plan. The venue does not publish drive times, so test the route from your lodging in a map app for the day and hour you plan to travel. If you camp at the venue, parking depends on the site type: car camping and RV guests park at their site, and other camp types use designated areas. Ask your lodging whether it has parking for every car in your group, because venue parking is for ticketed guests only.

What the venue does not publish

The pages we read do not give the price of Premium Parking or the number of spaces, lot opening times, shuttle hours, or drive times to the lots. They also do not mention any official hotel, partner or off-site shuttle program. Anything you read elsewhere on those points is unconfirmed here.
